I am a transcriptionist and continually experiencing PROBLEMS with my foot pedal. Typically I'll research the problem in the community and the issue will be resolved for a short period, then problem come backs. Also, while in device manager, the foot pedal is never displayed. However, when I plug it in it does display that windows is installing the device software. I have a hp 2000 notebook, windows 7, Infinity VEC foot pedal. I have tried the following troubleshooting techniques:
1. Checked the power management of the hubs (do not turn off to save power)

6. A tech also suggested that another device was causing the conflict, (conflicting with the foot pedal) such as: my head phones and keyboard/mouse. However, after removing my keyboard/mouse, the issue was resolved for a week, then the problem came back.
NOTHING WORKS, Anyone's help would be appreciated. I hope I remembered ALL the troubleshooting techniques I've tried. I'm running out of suggestions.
