The product you have selected has been classified as 'End of Service Life'. Support for such products is limited to online materials, such as Knowledgebase Solutions, drivers, application updates and product documentations available on the Creative Customer Support website. Jan 04, 2009  No webcam drivers for MAC I just received my new SP2309W today form Dell. It is a fantastic monitor however, the webcam is not compatible w/ OS X as I was told by the sales staff before I made the purchase. Dell electronics and accessories page has customer reviews, hot deals-of-the-day and popular categories to help quickly locate the right products. Whether you're watching video or working with documents, the Dell SP2309W is the widescreen monitor you've been waiting for. Higher than Full HD and a 16:9 aspect ratio mean stunningly vivid images and video with Truecolor. I had been running the native 2048x1152 resolution on my Dell SP2309W monitor with no problems on a VGA to VGA cable. I bought a VGA to DVI adapter, attached it to my VGA cable, and then plugged it into the DVI port on the monitor. Sp2309w The base stand is nice and articulates well. This sp2309w its score down from an sp2309w. Apple MacBook Pro bug patched, kicking in full performance. Linksys wusb54g v4 driver.

915gm/gms 910gml 855gme video driver I later found that you can use the standard Windows XP driver if you run the setup program in XP compatibility mode. I attempted to manually install a number of the drivers, including Vista-patched drivers, around on the Internet but Windows 7 would automatically remove the driver upon reboot. I had this exact issue recently.

I have a MBP and use the above model Dell monitor via the Display Port out to DVI. For a while the 2mp webcam on the 2309w worked, although I had to reset the computer if I unplugged and replugged it in. Now it won't recognize the web cam at all.
Help! Is this something that probably broke with 10.6.5 or is there something else that may have changed? And no, Dell does not have an OS X driver that I can find. Nor is their 'support' much help.

I rarely believe that an update breaks things, except in a case like yours. I think there were a bunch of security fixes with 10.6.5, and it's possible it shut down an open port or something that allowed your webcam to work. And without a driver to run it, it may be impossible to work. To be honest, you have a better webcam on your MBP, and it integrates perfectly with a huge number of programs. You might have to give up on that Dell monitor's webcam.

Does your monitor have an AUX out? If yes get a sound cable and run it through your sound card or your speaker system.Nikon D5100

Connect your audio out from behind your monitor to aux in on your desktop. Then you can have audio coming out on your speakers that you already have for the desktop.

What mobo do you have, and also what USB speakers? you'll most likely have a mic-in that doubles as a line in. You should be able to hook up your PS3 to it.

You have a line-in on your mobo, you could connect it to the AUX-0ut on your monitor and get the HDMI sound from your PS3 (its not great quality on my 2408wfp though). I can't say though if you'll get the input from your onboard sound with the USB device selected as default sound device. Its probable you'd need to have the onboard as default, which would limit you to the analogue or optical outs on the mobo to connect speakers to. Do your speakers have any input other than USB?

Nope they were like £7 very cheap but they do a decent job.
the PS3 has Optical Out and AV Multi out, could either of these be used to connect to the PC for sound from the PC to be played through the PC speakers?

Its unlikely with the USB speakers. You can use the audio portion of the AV out (red and white) and connect it to the line-in on your onboard, you'd probabally still have to have the onboard sound set as default though to hear it which would turn off the USB speakers.
